Riddle #1 || Chloe and Sam
Chloe knew the answer to the riddle the moment she saw it. She’d done a report on ‘Christ the Redeemer’ in her Senior year— the same year she was supposed to go to Rio for Spring Break. Her plans had fallen through when she decided to stay home and spend Spring Break with Wesley instead. Now she definitely wished she’d gone to Brazil, but she couldn’t change that now. Sure she wouldn’t get to actually see Rio, but it was the idea that she’d finally get to go there. Luckily for her, this wasn’t Chloe’s first Brazilian Wax. The first one had been a bitch, and she’d gotten it in college. Her friend said it wasn’t that bad. That was a lie. It was horrible, but this second one didn’t hurt as bad.
She regretted leaving her sunglasses on the plane, and squinted as she looked up at the statue. She smirked and put her arms out, mimicking the statue’s pose before dropping her arms to her sides. She crossed one leg in front of the other, toe on the ground as she waited for Sam to get there.
